5 New autographed entries in the Howard Ostrom Collection today. First up is Peter Jones who played a deerstalker wearing detective known as "Arthur Doyle" in a 1969 episode of The Avengers "The Curious Case Of The Countless Clues". No prizes for guessing who he is based on.
Also joining in the Television section is
Jack Benny who played Holmes during a sketch on his show "The Jack Benny Show" in the 1950's.
Tony Shalhoub from "Monk" which ran from 2002-2009 . The central character of this Mystery Series had heavy basis on the character of a very OCD Sherlock Holmes.
We also have a French Holmes and Watson Paul Guers and Philippe Laudenbach from "Sherlock Holmes" a French TV Movie (1982).
Last but not least also in the Television section we have Reece Dinsdale(Holmes) and Gerard Horan(Watson) from Sherlock Holmes and The Case Of The Missing Link , an episode of a short lived 90's series called "Science Fiction" (1992).
