 Today we have a new entry into the film section of "The Howard Ostrom Collection" with Hubert Willis. Willis played Doctor Watson for an incredible 44 silent movies alongside Eille Norwood during the early 1920's.  Today we have a new entry in the Howard Ostrom Holmes and Watson Autograph Collection today with H.Lawrence Leyton. This signed postcard from 1906 depicts Leyton dressed as Sherlock Holmes for his stage show performance. This was not the last of Leytons involvement within The Sherlock Holmes world though. 4 years later in 1910 he stepped up to the West End stage to play Doctor Watson opposite H.A Saintsbury's Holmes. This feat makes him one of the few actors to have performed both roles. Others notable actors with this distinction include Jeremy Brett, Carleton Hobbs, Reginald Owen and Patrick Macnee.
