Half Of Der Hund

Joining us today in the "Howard Ostrom Holmes and Watson Autograph Collection" is Fritz Odemar. One half of the detective/doctor duo for the 1937 German Film "Der Hund Von Baskerville".

Odemar, who played Watson, was a prolific actor of his time appearing in over 150 films through the course of his career.

At this moment in time we are still seeking Bruno Guttners (Holmes) autograph to go alongside Fritz so as always if anyone has any information/owns one and interested in discussing a trade or sale please contact myself or Howard.

A New Sherlock Stage Signing

Today we have a new entry in the stage section of "The Howard Ostrom Collection Holmes and Watson Autograph Collection" with Martin Thompson who played Holmes in the stage production "Sherlock Holmes And The Final Adventure" in 2009.

Thompson was very proud to be included into the collection as you can see from the letter he wrote to Howard (click to zoom)

Thompsons Watson was played by Charles Horton in the production who we are currently attempting to get the autograph for.
