The Terror at Blue John Gap

"The Terror at Blue John Gap" is a fantasy horror based upon "Blue John Gap" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This film, while largely playing out to the basic story and characters from the original book, also intertwines the work of Doyle with that of H.P Lovecraft. The film also serve as an appendices piece for the wider No Place Like Holmes Series with it going a long way to exploring the fantastical elements of the mythology contained within the show.
A recovering tuberculosis patient is sent to a tranquil part of the Derbyshire countryside in order to aid his recovery. However, upon his arrival, whether by fate or by misfortune, he soon finds that there is far more to be found in the hills than just his good health.

Phil Kay, Mark Davis, Marina Alexis Lace, Victoria Harrild, and Michaela MacKensie star.
* For those that are interested, here are some key differences from the original story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle* (Spoiler Warnings) -
- In the film we have Miss Allerton, but in the book it is Miss Allerton(s), and they are elderly spinsters, not a young woman.
- Dr. Saunderson is a man in the book.
- The Terror in Blue John Gap has nothing to do with Ancient Gods, but a creature from the prehistoric age that has been preserved in an prehistoric like utopia that exists under the caverns.
- Sherlock Holmes nor Father Baskerville are characters in the book.

Otherwise, a lot of the original dialogue and key plot elements are reminiscent to the story.
