Douglas Fairbanks Sr played the role of 'Coke Ennyday' in the Sherlock Holmes parody silent short  'The Mystery Of The Leaping Fish'.  It is for this reason we are classing him one of the classic, if not unconventional, Sherlock Holmes actors.
