Adrian Charlton
The Actor

Adrian Charlton has been acting since a young age. He has clocked up an impressive array of theatre credits including appearances in productions such as "A Clockwork Orange" and "Closure".
Prior to joining "The Mary Morstan Mysteries" cast, he had not acted in front of the camera before, but turned out to be a complete natural in the role of the villainous Professor Moriarty.
He is also a cos player and creates and designs his own costumes for events. At the London Comic Con Expo in May 2011, he cos-played as Sherlock Holmes. It was here he was seen by Ross, who had been in attendance to promote NPLH. Ross instantly knew this was the man he wanted to play Moriarty and offered the role shortly after. Oddly enough, Adrian was actually already aware of the show and a had been a fan for some time.
He is a true die hard Sherlockian fan, he has had the pleasure of meeting actors Douglas Wilmer and Sir. Christopher Lee who have both played the role of Sherlock Holmes on TV and in the movies.
Apart from acting, he also has many other interests which include studying history, collecting autographs and vintage movie memorabilia.

The Character

Professor James Moriarty is otherwise known as "The Napoleon Of Crime" and with good cause. For it is thought almost every crime in London is somehow someway arranged by him in some form but there is never any trace or link that can be drawn back to him .
He is a Mathematics Genius and at the age of twenty-one he wrote a treatise upon the binomial theorem. On the strength of it, he won the a chair on the board upon a University though later stepped down due to dark rumors surrounding his intentions.
In the Mary Morstan Mysteries he is the leader of the villainous Moriarty Club, which members include his niece Gwendolyn Chambers, Col.Moran, Von Bork and Charles Augustus Milverton.
